We stayed at Casinhas Da Laurissilva for a week and it was perfect for our nature getaway. The location was remote and offered breathtaking mountain views, with a private waterfall close by. The spacious villa had all the amenities we needed, including A/C. Ana Maria provided excellent check-in service and gave us great suggestions for things to see in the area. We also loved the nearby restaurant "Mercado da Ribeira", which was both delicious and affordable.

The lack of breakfast provisions. While the kitchen was equipped, it would have been great to have some basic items like coffee, tea, sugar, and even a chopping board and oil for guests who are only staying a few nights.

The balcony was great for enjoying the stunning views. I felt like a master chef in the well-equipped kitchen. Exploring the waterfall nearby was a real treat.

I loved hiking through the forest, but I really missed having a dirt road to navigate in the dark.

The nearest airport is conveniently far enough so I don't have to deal with noisy planes. The balcony had enough kitchenware for me to pretend I'm a chef and the terrace was a nice place to.uh.space out or something.

Oh, how I missed the thrill of not having a table to eat outside. So disappointing.
